Prabhat Kumar Yadav’s journey to medical college was backed by nearly two decades of his father’s work as an auto-rickshaw driver in Mumbai. After scoring 504 in his first NEET attempt, Prabhat took a drop year, moved to Kota and returned with 627 marks, securing AIR 3,864 and an MBBS seat at KGMU, Lucknow.
