The Kathmandu Resolution, adopted at the 6th Conservation Asia Congress in Nepal by about 500 conservationists, calls for Asia-wide leadership and cooperation to protect biodiversity, ecosystems and communities. It urges capacity building through trans-Asian collaboration, free movement of knowledge, resource mobilization, community-centered stewardship, inclusion of students, women and Indigenous peoples, and promotion of open, ethical research to inform landscape-scale policies for sustainable coexistence.
