Resident doctors at AIIMS Nagpur have ended their protest after hospital authorities and Nagpur Police assured them of stronger security measures. Police Commissioner Vishwas Nangre Patil said security at the hospital would be enhanced and strict action taken over the incident that triggered the agitation. AIIMS also assured protesting doctors and students that they would not face harassment or victimisation for participating.
