Ahmedabad Metro will expand with a 10.26 km Thaltej Gam to Godhavi elevated viaduct, including eight stations, as part of Phase 3. GMRC opened an ₹860.01 crore tender running until November 16, 2026. The extension will extend coverage westward, complement existing east-west and Gandhinagar links, and follow other projects (Phase 2A to the airport and Phase 2B to GIFT City) improving commuter connectivity.
