A missing talking parrot has sent a Kanpur man on an unusually expensive search mission, with ₹50,000 offered for its safe return. The bird, which can say its owner Arjun’s name and even call out “Mitthu is hungry”, went missing on September 14 after a cat frightened it into flying away.
