Researchers have identified Paludohadros proudlovii, a new iguanodontian dinosaur based on fossils found in 2001 at the Ewhurst brickworks in Surrey. The plant eating animal lived about 125 million years ago, measured roughly five metres and weighed 1.5 to 2 tonnes as a juvenile, and its recognition increases evidence of greater dinosaur diversity in ancient England.
