Chennai’s 13-year-old para swimmer S. Ishaan has become the youngest S14 swimmer to complete a double crossing of the Palk Strait. He covered around 64 km in 18 hours and 50 minutes, swimming from Dhanushkodi to Sri Lanka’s Talaimannar and back. Ishaan, who competes in the S14 category for intellectual impairment, has also won multiple national para-swimming titles.
