Volunteers have planted more than 109,000 trees across Lancashire in the past year, creating woodlands equivalent to 154 football pitches, 61 orchards and 17 micro-forests. Over two planting seasons the Lancashire Woodland Partnership has planted nearly 500,000 trees and 27,233 metres of hedging. Partners urge landowners to join efforts that support wildlife, climate resilience and community wellbeing.
