Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta died after sustaining a fatal head injury at his Versova residence; his body was sent for post-mortem. Colleagues including Rakesh Roshan, Ronit Roy, Fardeen Khan and others visited the Mumbai bungalow to pay respects. The family reported no suspicion, and funeral arrangements are pending. Gupta was known for crime thrillers like Kaante and Shootout at Lokhandwala.
