The Indian Space Research Organisation launched NVS-03, a 2,232 kg next-generation navigation satellite, aboard GSLV-F18 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota at 11:51 pm. NVS-03, third of the second-generation NVS series, will reach geosynchronous slot 32.5°E, add L1 to L5/S signals, carry an indigenous atomic clock, and augment NavIC coverage and services.
