India’s bid to host the 2036 Olympics is moving into its first formal presentation, with Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and IOA president P T Usha unveiling “Rising Together” as the campaign vision. India will present its Games project to the IOC’s Future Host Commission at the end of October, with Ahmedabad as its proposed host city, joining six other interested countries in the pre-selection process.
