A sample of Everest packaged cumin powder collected from a Goa resort has prompted FSSAI to order an immediate recall of the batch after tests found azoxystrobin and thiamethoxam above prescribed limits. A second laboratory confirmed the sample was unsafe, with the food regulator directing Everest to take corrective measures and report on the recall.
